Version 2.0 · In force from 2 August 2026
What Skip Applying collects, who else handles it, and how to get rid of it.
1. What we collect
| What | Why we have it |
|---|---|
| Your email address | From signing in with Google, which also passes us your name and picture. |
| Your resume | AI reads it to fill in your profile, and we upload it when we apply. With the tailoring add-on, a rewritten copy goes instead. |
| Your profile and search criteria | Name, phone, city, work history, education, skills, salary expectations, right to work, and the jobs you want. These are the answers we type into forms. |
| A reference to your job board sign-in | An identifier for a saved browser session at BrowserBase, and the city we connect from. See clause 2. |
| Your application history | Every job we opened: title, employer, link, time, outcome, and the questions and answers we submitted. Where a form defeated us we keep a copy of it to find out why. |
| Order and payment records | What you bought, and the Stripe identifiers for it. Card numbers never reach us. |
2. We never receive your job board password
Your LinkedIn and Indeed passwords never reach our servers, and we cannot read them.
You sign in yourself, inside a cloud browser whose live screen we show on our page. Your password goes from there straight to the job board. Two-factor codes and captchas work the same way.
What we keep is a saved browser session at BrowserBase — the same cookies your own browser holds after you log in, and what lets us open a browser already signed in as you. It holds no password. Anyone with it could act as you until it expires, which is why disconnecting deletes it.
3. Who else handles your data
| Company | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Sign-in, the database, and the private storage holding your resume. |
| BrowserBase | Runs the cloud browser, holds your saved job board session, provides the residential connection we apply through, and solves the captchas job boards put in the way. |
| Google (Gemini) | The gemini-2.5-flash-lite model reads your resume, writes your answers to employers' questions, and rewrites your resume for the tailoring add-on. |
| Stripe | Takes the payment and handles your card details, not us. |
| Vercel | Hosts the site and keeps its server logs. |
| Trigger.dev | Runs the worker that works through your order, so your resume and profile pass through their servers. |
| Resend | Sends the emails about your order. |
Employers are not sub-processors, but they are the point: applying sends your resume and answers to the employer who posted the job. We do not sell your data and we do not train models on it. A few people here can read it to support you or handle a refund.
4. Deleting your job board session
Disconnect the board at /connect and the saved session is deleted at BrowserBase — actually deleted, not a flag on our side. After that we cannot sign in as you.
One exception: a single sign-in can leave both LinkedIn and Indeed on the same saved session, so if the other board still uses it we forget the connection but leave the session alone rather than sign you out of that board. Disconnect both and it is deleted. The page tells you which happened. You cannot disconnect while an order is running on that board, because it would break work you paid for.
5. Deleting your account
Everything else is kept while your account exists. To delete it, email supportapplyservice@gmail.com from the address you signed up with — there is no self-serve button yet. Within 2 business days we delete your saved sessions, resume, profile, criteria, application history and sign-in, and confirm it is done. We keep the payment records tax rules require. Applications already sent cannot be recalled.
6. Cookies, security and your rights
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and short-lived ones while a sign-in or a board connection is in progress. No advertising or analytics trackers.
Traffic is encrypted, the database uses row-level security so only you and our servers can read your rows, and the keys that act on your behalf never leave the server. No system is perfect; if we discover a breach affecting your data we will tell you.
You may have legal rights over your data depending on where you live, and we claim certification under no particular privacy law. What we will do is this: ask at supportapplyservice@gmail.com and within 2 business days we will tell you what we hold, correct it, send you a copy, or delete it.
7. Age and contact
This service is for adults applying for their own jobs. Do not use it if you are under 18.
